Cilantro comes from the parsley family and has a bold and sharp citrus flavor and aroma.
Cilantro is commonly used in Mexican dishes and makes a great addition to salsa and guacamole. Cilantro is also frequently used in Caribbean and Asian cooking.
Spice Specialist Dried Cilantro can be used as a substitute for fresh Cilantro. One teaspoon of Dried Cilantro converts to about 3 teaspoons of fresh cilantro.
