Gomasio, also known as Sesame Salt, is a Japanese condiment made from toasted white sesame seeds and sea salt.  The sesame seeds and salt are toasted, separately, combined, and then ground. The toasted combination brings a pleasant salty flavor, while actually using less salt. Gomasio is usually sprinkled on foods and plain rice.

Gomasio is also used in macrobiotic diets as a healthier alternative to salt.

Ingredients: White Sesame Seeds and Sea Salt.

    Love it

    I use this in the place of regular salt. It’s great on salads and deli sandwiches.
