  1. 4 out of 5

This was a good base. I had to add a little more heat to it (for my husband). Only downfall is there are no instructions so if you have never made mole before or are not familiar with how to make it then you may have some troubles. I am satisfied with this product and will be ordering more when I run out!

  2. Question

Is the 1# container of mole seasoning in a bag, box, or jar? If it’s available in a bag, my friend can easily take it in her suitcase back to Japan; if not, it’s harder to transport. Looking for the most compact option!

  3. Question

Are there cooking instructions On the container? Do I add more ingredients? For example peanut butter? I had a powder mole sauce mix before and loved it. However I still had to add cocoa powder and peanut butter to it (which was no big deal) they just quit making it and I came across this product and really wanna give it a try

    • We do not add any peanut products to our mix, and the cocoa powder is also really to what you like. This product was designed by a chef, we never actually heard if he added Peanut butter or not. I know he would kick up the chocolate but with actual a brick of Mexican chocolate, not powder.
