Our Porcini Mushroom Powder is made from dried porcini mushrooms. The flavor of porcini mushrooms is unique, rich, and earthy. Dried porcini have a much more concentrated flavor than fresh ones.

Powdered porcini mushrooms are the ultimate gourmet seasoning. They instantly add depth and strong woodsy flavor to just about any dish without adding a lot of “bulk.” The flavor is strong and concentrated, so a little powder goes a long way.

Porcini powder adds an extra kick to dry meat rubs, where it forms a delicious crust upon cooking. It can also be sprinkled on vegetables, potatoes, pasta, and just about anything as a finishing touch.

Because the powder is made from dehydrated mushrooms, it also acts as a thickener for sauces. Porcini powder can also be used to make the simple and delicious porcini mushroom sauce.

Try mixing it with breadcrumbs and using it as a topping for mac and cheese. Careful! The robust flavor can be extremely addictive.

    Porcini

    I’m a weird vegan in that I miss gravies more than I miss actual meat. I got this to make “vegan gravy” and brown Chinese style sauces. Couldn’t be happier with the results!

    GAME CHANGER: Vegan Gravy!

    Used this to make a DELICIOUS vegan gravy! The powder is great because you don’t need to soak it like you do with whole shrooms. If you’re not familiar with porcini mushrooms, the smell is definitely strong and on the musky side, but this changes completed once it’s cooked. All in all, I highly recommend this stuff for any vegan pantry.

    Porcini Mushroom Powder

    Excellent quality. Seems expensive at first but you really get a lot of volume considering how fine ground it is (almost like a dust). I use ground porcinis in all kinds of beef and gravy dishes but I think I’m gonna try it on chicken next.

    Good meaty flavor

    Tried this with a soy-sauce base in a steak recipe. Surprisingly good. Gives a nice thick steak a meatier, juicier flavor. Def would recommend.

    Amazing Flavor

    I got this on sale. Still a bit pricey, but you pay for gourmet 😉 This adds tremendous depth of flavor to just about anything and will take your cooking to the next level. Lately I’ve also been using it as a condiment and sprinkling it on my food sometimes.
