Apricot Powder is a fruit powder used to add apricot flavor to recipes without adding liquid. It can be used in barbecue rubs, sauces, salad dressing, and more to add a unique fruity twist.
This powder is not designed to be reconstituted into Apricot Juice. Instead, chefs find the most success when using it to add apricot flavoring to a dish.
This product is made from the whole fruit.
** DISCLAIMER ** Fruit/Veggie powders can clump much easier than other spices and seasoning. It is very important to keep these powders in a moisture-free area. Some of the fruit/veggie powders are easily broken up by just using your hands to squish the bag, while others are going to require a little more effort, perhaps a food processor.  Clumping does not make the product “bad”, it just requires a little more work to get it back to a straight powder. This is because we do not add chemicals to any of our products.  It is recommended to put something like dried rice, or dried beans in the container or bag with Fruit/Veggie powders, as they both absorb moisture, and can also be very easily sifted out when it comes time for use.

No sugar added!
So, the flavor of this powder actually is pretty strong in my opinion. If you’re not familiar with fruit powders you may expect them to taste more sugary, and the only way that’s going to happen is if you ADD SUGAR!!

apricot powder
I like to mix this in with yogurt and berries. The flavor is good but subtle, so don’t expect an explosion of apricot flavor.
