5 spices.
Chinese cuisines make use of the blend to coat fatty meats like duck or goose. Slow braising with it or using it as an ingredient in breading for fried foods is delicious too.
A pungent licorice flavor sweetens and warms your dishes.
A dose of Sichuan gives a healthy little bit of a kick.
It’s the ratio that gives the blend it’s distinct flavoring. And call us picky, but we had to get the ratios right.

Wow!
Tastes so different from the Chinese five spice I used to buy. In a very good way!! Amazing in stir-fries, good sweet and spicy taste.

REAL five spice powder
Many websites sell five spice powder using cheap black pepper, so when I saw Szechuan pepper listed in the ingredients I bought it without hesitation. This blend is not only authentic and full of high quality spices, it also tastes fresh like it was ground very recently. I’ll definitely be buying from Spice Specialist again.

Five spice powder
I’ve purchased a variety of five spice powder through the years, but this is the best I’ve used. It’s very flavorful with a sweet fragrance and aroma. I add it to almost all of my homemade Chinese recipes. We especially enjoy it in sant and pepper ribs. The blend of spices in rhis seasoning makes a huge difference in so many recipes.
