Coconut Milk Powder is a shelf stable substitute for coconut milk that can be reconstituted or used as a flavoring.
To make light canned coconut milk, simply combine 1 cup of coconut milk powder with ½ cup of hot water.
Coconut milk powder can be combined with confectioners’ sugar and milk to make a sweet coconut glaze. It can also be added to breading (such as in fried coconut shrimp) as a flavor booster.
