Coconut Milk Powder is a shelf stable substitute for coconut milk that can be reconstituted or used as a flavoring.
To make light canned coconut milk, simply combine 1 cup of coconut milk powder with ½ cup of hot water.
Coconut milk powder can be combined with confectioners’ sugar and milk to make a sweet coconut glaze. It can also be added to breading (such as in fried coconut shrimp) as a flavor booster.

While this product has wonderful full flavor and many people enjoy adding the rich coconut flavor, without the liquidity. It does contain the ingredient Casein which is a milk derivative. If you are a vegan, this coconut milk powder is not for you, but if you are simply trying to lessen your dairy intake this is a healthy alternative to traditional milk.
