Ground Bay Leaves are used to flavor soups, stews, sauces and braises. Fresh bay leaves are very mild and only develop their wonderful flavor once they’re dried.

Ground Bay Leaves have a slightly herbal taste and are similar to thyme and oregano.

    Ground is the way to go

    I like to use bay leaves in a lot of dishes and just discovered the ground leaves! I love that I don’t have to fish out the whole leaves out after cooking.

    The powder has a strong, savory bay smell and tastes incredible in my cooking. You only need a teaspoon or so in a dish so a pound should last a long time!
