Jamaican Jerk Seasoning can season a lot: beef, goat, tofu, fish, vegetables. Even fruit. It’s a flexible flavoring.
For a classic meal, season chicken with it. It’s easy. Decide how much seasoning to marinate the quartered bird with. Then it’s up to you if it’s time to fire up the grill or settle inside for a nice oven-bake.
It’s a dinner with a fragrant smoky sweetness. There’s plenty of spice too.
Goes well with a side of fried plantains and rice.

Question
Is the jerk seasoning spicey. I’d prefer a non hot jer seaoning.

Jamaican Jerk is spicy Jerk seasoning is hotter, but you can always kick up the heat with some fresh scotch bonnets. We have to make the spices so most people can handle the heat level 🙂
