Ready for a nice night in? Skip the bar and enjoy a delicious homemade simple syrup.

Homemade Lavender Simple Syrup
Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 3 tbsp. dried lavender
- 2 cups sugar (or vanilla sugar if you'd like to experiment with flavor combinations)
Instructions
First, add the dried lavender and 1 cup water in a small pot and heat til it begins to boil.
Add the sugar to the pot and stir until it completely dissolves.
Bring your stove’s flame to low, and continue heating the mixture for around 5 minutes.
After this, you should pour the mixture into a bottle through a sieve and funnel.
The sieve will remove the lavender, and you’ll be left with the purified syrup.
You can use it as soon as it cools down, or you can store it in your refrigerator.
For best results, make sure you use it within a week.
