Question
Why does it need to be refrigerated?

Fist let me say it will not be a tremendous issue if not refrigerated! but it helps prevent the product harding/seizing up. But we have gotten so many people writing from very humid climates that have not sealed the jars very tight after use, that is much better to keep in the Fridge. So if you are using it for backpacking, or camping its fine. You can also store it in a bag with some of the those silica gel packet you get in shoes.

This “lower Sodium” soy is 350 per ounce of powder used, which is actually a bit better than regular soy.

I love the fact that soy sauce powder exists! I had ordered this powder so that I could make some Wasabi soy sauce mixed nuts. Turned out great, but used way too much powder the first time because I didn’t realize how strong the flavor was.
