Baharat is a spice blend commonly used in middle eastern cooking. Baharat literally means “spice” in Arabic.
Use baharat to easily add delicious Middle Eastern flair to lamb, fish, chicken, or beef.
Or try adding it to a pan with a little butter to disperse the flavors, then add your meat or vegetables for frying. You can also use baharat in soups and as a condiment.
***Also called Bharat or B’harat

Quality stuff
As the other reviewer said, this brand of baharat is full of expensive cardamom, so it’s not cheap but it’s definitely worth the money. If you like to cook and you like Middle Eastern food, then this is a must have for your pantry. I use it when I make roasted eggplant or and lamb kababs. It really takes my kababs to the next level. My wife says they taste better than the ones the nearby Persian restaurant makes.
To get the full flavor, the secret is heating the spices up before you use them to release the oils. You can ~probably~ skip this step but I think it makes a big difference.
