I recommend not salting your meat first because the seasoning has enough salt, at least for my taste.

Hello Sharon,
We follow the Food Network recipe but we use 2 tablespoon of the Enchilada Spice when browning 1 Pound of Ground meat (we have used it with both Chicken and Beef)
