Our Spices

Help! I can’t find the ingredient/spice/blend I’m looking for!

We’d like to think we know a little something about that here. If you can’t find what you’re looking for on the site or in the product catalog contact us and we’d be more than happy to assist!

What is the shelf life of this spice/blend/rub?

We pack our spices fresh to order, so you can expect a shelf life of about 2 years without any flavor loss. For maximum freshness, we recommend storing your spices in a cool, dry, and dark place rather than near your stove.

Can you provide me with documents of compliance?

Yes, we can! Simply request any needed compliance paperwork at the time of sale. We will not be able to provide you with any documentation days/weeks/months after the sale. This is because inventory and market prices fluctuate so rapidly. So please be sure to request any needed documents immediately after purchase!

Who/What is Chef Cherie?

That’s us also! Chef Cherie is our Amazon.com brand and website. Smaller quantities (such as our 2 oz jars) generally have Chef Cherie labels.

Shipping & Returns

Do you ship to countries other than the U.S.?

We do not currently ship to areas outside of the United States.

What shipping methods are available?

Most orders are shipped through USPS Priority Mail or USPS Retail Ground. Larger orders weighing 10 lbs or over may be shipped through FedEx or UPS.

How much does shipping cost?

Spice Specialist is proud to offer everyday free shipping for orders $49.95 or greater. You can estimate the shipping cost of smaller orders by entering your address on the checkout page.

I’m from Alaska/Hawaii. Can I take advantage of your free shipping offer?

YES! We ship to Alaska and Hawaii and the free shipping minimum is the same for everyone.

How fast do you ship?

We ship orders directly from our warehouse within 1-2 business days. If you order on a weekday before 5PM EST, we do our best to ship your order same day.

Do you offer Expedited Shipping?

Orders are generally shipped through USPS. If you would like to arrange rush delivery, please email Marie@SpiceSpecialist.com

Where’s my stuff?

You will receive an email with tracking information as soon as your order is shipped.

Do you take returns?

Generally, we can’t take returns for open packages that are no longer in sellable condition. HOWEVER, we like to ensure 100% customer satisfaction so please don’t hesitate to contact us if there is an issue with your product 🙂

I’m nearby–can I pick up my order?

Sure! We offer local pickup from our warehouse location in Hicksville, NY. Just select “local pickup” as your shipping option and someone will contact you ASAP to arrange a date and time.

I didn’t receive my order confirmation or tracking information email. Why?

If you don’t see any emails, make sure to check your Spam folder. If you still do not see any emails but you do see a payment was made you can be assured that we have received your order and it will be shipped soon. What is your selection like? Do you just sell spices?

Our full catalog has over 5,000 items and includes not only spices, but just about anything you would need to stock a restaurant! We also offer custom spice blending.

I don’t see an item I want in your catalog…

We can probably still find it! Just ask. Our catalog is always expanding, sometimes too fast for us to update.

I see your catalog has frozen items. Can you deliver them to my business address?

We deliver to restaurants in New York. Specifically, NYC, Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island, the Hamptons, and Parts of Northern NJ.  See our Wholesale Orders page for delivery days and more.

My address is in Florida/Arizona/on the Surface of the Sun. Can you deliver frozen items to me?

Unfortunately we can’t, for what we hope are obvious reasons.
