Dried Lemon Peel is a shelf-stable substitute for lemon zest in recipes.
You can use dried lemon peel as a substitute for lemon zest in just about any recipe that calls for it. It is also great in marinades, rubs, and salsas.
Dried lemon peel is about three times stronger than lemon zest, so make sure to use it accordingly!
Many recipes call for the “zest of one lemon” which is about one tablespoon of lemon zest. One teaspoon of dried lemon peel is an adequate substitute per one tablespoon of lemon zest.

Hello 🙂 The “2 oz” jar size is actually about a half cup! Technically the jars are 4 oz by volume but they hold about 2 oz of most products. Thanks for your lovely compliments!
